On September 7, data released by Singapore's Department of Statistics showed that total retail sales in July 2026 were S$4.4 billion, up 1.5% from the same period last year, and up 0.9% month-on-month after seasonal adjustment. Online sales accounted for about 15.4% of retail sales.
Excluding motor vehicles, July retail sales rose 1.5% year-on-year, to S$3.7 billion, and rose 0.7% month-on-month after seasonal adjustment, with online sales accounting for about 18.3% of retail sales.
